Brioche Cables
Starting on the brioche cable stitch scarf by ravelkate mentioned in the previous post. I'm using some leftover alpaca from a sweater project in a blue that will look nice with my black coat.
If this turns out I may have to set it aside for a possible state fair entry....we'll see!

Honestly? I'll be knitting a mitten today. The short person needs some since it keeps snowing, and I knit one yesterday and started the second one. And knowing my luck, as soon as the mittens get knit, the snow will melt and he'll outgrow the mittens before they get more than a day or two of use.
Got my homemade jeans finished and I'm currently wearing them.
Also cleaning out my sewing room... Ryan is going to move back home for a while! He needs to save his $$.
I love the scarf and the color ! Hopefully I will have my Valentines Day projects completed and posted. I may move on to a baby sweater or a shawl.
Ooh State Fair! I've been thinking about that myself, lately. I hope if my Bohus hat turns out, I may submit that.
