Lana Grossa MegaBoot Stretch

This is the sock I've begun from the Lana Grossa Mega Boots Stretch Softcolor I picked up on vacation in Michigan. (What a great souvenir! I get to enjoy the knitting and then I'll have something to wear around too!!)

Not much time to write tonight. Just wanted to share the picture!

Knit on!

Kim, your pictures are an inspiration! These socks are simply beautiful. I haven't heard of this yarn before - is it, as the name implies, actually stretchy?

Thanks Sharon! It's mostly a wool yarn and wool has pretty terrific "memory" as it is, but this yarn does seem to have a little extra "springy*ness" to it. It's definitely NOT like Cascade Fixation for stretch though--very much just like wool.

I'm enjoying working with it! It does seem to split quite easily--perhaps the easiest of any yarn I've tried thus far. I'd heard others say the same about Austermann's Step yarn, which I didn't find to be a problem--but this....uf da! Splitting all the time!
