I've decided the color of these socks reminds me of clementines....which reminded me of the song from elementary school days....

This may be my new "vanilla" sock pattern. Just a quick knit sock when you need a pair asap.
My friend dyed the yarn, which was acutally a sock blank. I knit them toe-up using Judy's Magic Cast-On, a combination heel and Jeni's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off.
No frills, but nice warm socks in the end!

How was your weekend??

Gorgeous socks! Wow. When we need a pair of socks around here, I tell them to go dig in the sock barrel... and then you just go and whip up a pair! That takes talent my friend!
There is something very satisfying about a simple but sturdy sock in a pleasing color!
