I was just reading Wendy Knits (by Wendy Johnson, aka "sock goddess") and she had a fun opening on her blog entry. Since she readily admits to having swiped it from elsewhere, I thought I'd do the same.
The idea is to fill in each item with the same first letter as the first letter in your name.

Four letter word - kind
Boy name - Kevin
Girl name - Karen
Occupation - knitter (or Kindergarten teacher)
Color - khaki
Beverage - Kool-Aid
Something found in a bathroom - Kleenex
A Place - Katmandu (or Kentucky)
Reason for being late - killed
Food - kiwi
Something you shout - Keeper!
Ok, the longer you work at this, the more words that pop into mind.
